(FINISHED) – In this course, we will discuss the potential of creative activities as a way of practising positive psychology. The course will delve into topics such as gratitude, self-kindness and affirmations, exploring ways to be creative, the benefits and, how this can be combined with hopeful, uplifting ways of thinking. We will also be drawing upon the Recovery College magazine: Experience Stories & Well-being, as a resource and an example of how sharing our lived experience is empowering. It is our hope that students will discover simple, positive and creative ideas that they can take forward. If wishing to do so, students will also be supported to consider how they might contribute their stories to the magazine, supporting others.
